Install a NEW O-ring seal (1) on the thermostat housing assembly (2).

Install the thermostat housing assembly (2). Tighten the bolts (1) to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).

Install the coolant hose (1) onto the thermostat housing.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
Start the engine and check for leaks.

Install the engine cover (1).
