Charging System (Service Information): Generator: Installation: 2.4L

1. Install the generator to the engine block bolts (1, 4) and tighten to the proper specifications.
2. Install the positive B(+) cable to the rear of the generator stud (2) and tighten the nut to the proper specifications.
3. Connect the field generator wire harness connector (3).

4. Reposition the A/C compressor to its upright installed position and tighten the inner A/C compressor mounting bolt (2) to the proper specifications.
5. Install the A/C compressor forward mounting bolts (1) and tighten to the proper specifications.
6. Install the accessory drive belt.
7. Install the resonator.
8. Install the engine cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable(s).
