Vehicle Speed Sensor

  1. Remove instrument cluster. Connect ohmmeter between terminal No. 3 (Green/Red wire) of 16-pin connector and terminal No. 14 (Black wire) of 20-pin connector. SeeFig 1 .
  2. Insert a screwdriver into speedometer cable receptacle and rotate receptacle. If continuity is not present 4 times per revolution, replace vehicle speed sensor.
