SERVICE TIP:

The ABS codes for the 2000 Sephia can be accessed using the Kia Data Pro Scan Tool. If a scan tool is not available, the codes can be accessed by grounding terminals at the underhood data link connector (DLC) and observing the flashing ABS warning lamp.






1. Ground the DLC ABS terminal (15) to G2 (12)
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (Engine OFF).
3. Malfunction codes are displayed as a series of long and short flashes on the ABS warning lamp beginning with the lowest number code first. Specific codes are represented by a specific signal pattern.
