Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- To enter self-diagnostics, connect Kia Power Scan/Kia Data Pro Scan Tool (0K2A1 189 AA0/K96 DP KIT), or equivalent, to OBD-II Data Link Connector (OBD-II DLC). See Fig 1 . OBD-II DLC is located below left side of instrument panel near center console.
- Start engine and retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table. Perform appropriate DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
