Operation Inspection

  1. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position.
  2. Verify that the selector lever is shifted to "P" range.
  3. Verify that the selector lever isn't shifted from "P" range to any other position with not applying the brake pedal.
  4. Verify that selector lever isn't shifted without applying the brake pedal.

  5. Shift the selector lever to "R" range.
  6. Verify that ignition switch isn't shifted to LOCK position.
  7. Shift the selector lever to "P" range.
  8. Verify that ignition switch isn't shifted to LOCK position.
  9. Repair it if necessary.
