Rear hatch lock assembly

Removal
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Open rear hatch.
3. Remove the rear hatch trim. Refer to "Trim".




4. Unfasten lockrod clip and fastener.
5. Loosen round wire clip on the key cylinder mount, and remove key cylinder.
6. Remove three bolts on the lock assembly.
7. Disconnect two connectors on the lock assembly.




8. Remove lock assembly.

Installation
1. Position lock assembly.
2. Connect two connectors on the lock assembly.
3. Install three bolts on the lock assembly.

Tighten three bolts to 97 lb.in (11 N.m).




4. Fasten lockrod clip and fastener.




5. Install rear hatch trim. Refer to "Trim".
6. Close rear hatch.
7. Connect negative battery cable.
