Front Axle Hub/Knuckle: Removal
- Raise vehicle and support it with safety stand.
- Loosen four wheel nuts.
- Remove wheel and tire.
- Loosen a locknut and two brake rotor screws.
- Remove brake caliper assembly and brake rotor.NOTE: Do not damage dust boot.
- Loosen and remove nut and disconnect tie-rod end with SST (0K130 283 021).
- Disconnect stabilizer bar from control link on lower control arm.
- Disconnect ball joint of lower control arm from steering knuckle.
- Remove steering knuckle and wheel hub.
- Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
