Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. Apply sealant to the sensor's threads. Tighten it to the specified torque.

    Recommended sealant :

    Three bond No. 2310 or LOCTITE 962T

    Tightening torque

    The coolant sensor :

    19.6-39.2Nm (2-4 kg.m, 14.5-28.9 lb.ft)

  2. Connect the coolant sensor to the harness.
  3. Connect the ground cable of battery.
  4. Refill the coolant.
