DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Sum of injection time and change in fuel level are monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Malfunctioning Fuel level sensor (FLS)
  • Malfunctioning PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Time after start > 15 sec.
Threshold value
  • Sum of injected fuel calculated - fuel consumption calculated by fuel level > 3l 
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON condition
  • No MIL ON
