Main Relay: Inspection

Remove cover from main fuse block.
Place a finger on main relay.
Verify that relay clicks when ignition switch is turned ON.

Verify that main relay clicks when ignition switch is turned ON and OFF.
Apply battery voltage (B+) to terminal 3 and ground terminal 5 of the relay.

Check continuity of relay as shown.

MAIN RELAY CONTINUITY

Terminals	B+ applied	B+ not applied
3 - 5	Continuity	No continuity

If not as specified, replace main relay.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Replace the cover on main fuse block.
