Changing Engine Oil
- Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
- Stop the engine.
- Remove the oil filler cap (on rocker cover) and the drain plug (on the oil pan). Drain the engine oil.
- Tighten the drain plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
35-40 N.m (350-400 kg. cm, 25.82-29.51 lb)
CAUTION: Whenever tightening an oil drain plug, use a new drain plug gasket. - Install oil filter.
- Fill new engine oil through the oil filling hole.
Drain and filling
Amount of oil: 4.3l (4.55 US. qts, 3.78 lmp. qts)
- Close the oil filling hole cap.
- Start the engine.
- Stop the engine and check the oil level. If not sufficient, refill it.
