July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Monitor DTC Status

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
  3. Monitor the "KEY STATUS" and "ECU STATUS' Parameter on the Scan tool.

    Specification: 'LEARNT'

  4. Are "KEY STATUS" and "ECU STATUS' Parameter within specifications?

    YES  : Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO  : Go to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
