Tailgate Switch

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to "TAILGATE TRIM ")
Disconnect the connector. After loosening the remove tailgate garnish mounting nuts (6EA), then tailgate garnish (A).

Remove the outside handle (A) after loosening the outside handle mounting screws.
