Drive Motor Rotor Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Description

The accurate position of the rotor must be known at all times to ensure maximum output control of the motor. The resolver is mounted on the housing plate, as shown in the above figure. Like the CMP sensor on the engine, it detects the position of the rotor in the motor.
