SERVICE INFORMATION

This pitstop provides information relating to some vehicles equipped with Blind Spot Detection (BSD), which may exhibit a "Check BSD System" message with DTCs: C270254 and C270354.

C270254: Control Module Master Missing Calibration

C270354: Control Module Slave Missing Calibration

It is important to note that the BSD system calibration must be performed after any rear collision repairs. Failure to do so can result in improper BSD system operation.

Using a KDS/GDS, select "BSD Radar Calibration" in the BSD System.
Perform the "BSD Radar Calibration" procedure according to the KDS screen.
Once the procedure is complete, test drive the vehicle at speeds above 20mph to verify proper operation of the BSD system.
