DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short in the brake lamp relay (HAC relay) circuit
  2. Faulty brake lamp relay (HAC relay)
Threshold Value
  • When open or short in Brake lamp relay circuit is detected for over 600ms.
Fail Safe
  • Inhibit the HAC control and allow the ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC) control
  • The ESP (ESC) warning lamp is activated
