Component Inspection

■ Check Battery Sensor Performance 

1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Connect CH A probe to LIN signal terminal of battery sensor connector.
3. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

   Specification:  Refer to appropriate service information. Signal Waveform & Data

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the battery sensor operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known-good battery sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace battery sensor and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
