DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short to ground in valve relay circuit
  3. Low voltage on valve relay
  4. Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • Valve relay voltage does not reach 80% of HECU supply voltage within 80ms, upon valve relay "ON"
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • EBD/ABS/ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Failsafe
  • ABS/ESC (ESP)/EBD function prohibited
