Component Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
  3. Ignition "ON"
  4. Monitor "Battery Voltage" and "Battery Voltage(AMS)" parameter in "Current Data" with GDS.
  5. Test Condition: Ignition "ON" or Engine "ON"

    Specification:  Refer to Fig 1 below

  6. Is measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM's connector or was repaired and PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Battery Sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
