DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN Communication
  1. B_CAN High Line Short to Battery/Ground
  2. B_CAN Low Line Short to Battery/Ground
  3. B_CAN High and Low Line Short to Each Other
  4. Device Failure
  5. CAN Signal Error
Enable Conditions
  • Battery (+)
  • Power voltage 9 V~16 V
Threshold Value
  • B_CAN "High" line error
  • B_CAN "Low" line error
  • Once CAN Error Pin is detected, count increases by 1 step and reached 200 steps.
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 sec
DTC Erasing
  • DTC is erased after solved problem
