Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Lift the vehicle and remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector (A) and remove the battery cable bracket (B).

Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid and then disconnect the connector from the S terminal (B).

Remove the starter (A) by loosening the bolts.
