Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

NOTE:

When removing with a flat - tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Take care not to scratch the body surface.

Remove the tail trunk lid trim.
(Refer to Trunk Lid - "TRUNK LID TRIM ")
Disconnect the connector (A) and cable (B) and then loosen the bolt and remove the trunk lid latch (C).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the tail gate locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
- Adjust the tail gate alignment.
- Make sure the connectors are connected in properly.
