Inspection-2. Check For An Open Circuit Or Any Modification In The Fuse

Check the fuse for an open circuit or any modification as instructed below.

To do	Check the location of the fuse for the tailgate operation.	Check the fuse for any damage due to modification.

To do	While ignition switch is on, check by using a bulb tester without removing the fuse.	Remove and visually inspect the fuse.

Is the fuse wiring is broken or modified?
Yes
- Inspect the SJB through the actuation test. (Refer to "INSPECTION-3 .")
No
- Replace the fuse or restore it to its original condition.
