DTC P1940-00: ECU Internal Error - Motor: General Description
The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system distributes the optimum driving torque to the front and rear wheels according to the driving conditions (such as road conditions and operating conditions). The AWD ECU receives signals from various sensors fitted to the vehicle via CAN communication to determine the power distribution conditions for the front and rear wheels. Also, calculate the corresponding torque value and control the coupling system so that the drive torque according to the driving conditions is transferred to the rear wheels. If the AWD system is not functioning normally due to internal data and circuit error of the AWD ECU, the AWD ECU determines an internal failure and illuminates the warning lamp.
