Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.

    Tightening torque: 

    107. 9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb.ft)

  2. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor.

  3. Loosen the nut (A) and bolt (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    (A)8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

    (B)7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

    Drum type

  4. Remove the rear seat.

    (Refer to body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  5. Remove the door scuff trim.

    (Refer to body - "DOOR SCUFF TRIM ")

  6. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector.
