Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Remove the front seat shield outer cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")
Remove the front seat shield inner cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT SHIELD INNER COVER ")
Push the lock pin and then pull out the front seat headrest (A).

Remove the front seat lower protector (A).

Remove the front seat back board (A).
1. Separate the upper back cover by pushing the lock pin in the direction of the arrow.
2. Remove the front seat back cover by lifting in the direction.

Disconnect the front seat air back ventilation duct (A).

Disconnect the front seat lower connector (A).

Disconnect the fixing hook (A) from the front seat back lower.

Disconnect the protector (A) from the front seat back frame.

Turn the front seat back cover inside out. Then pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching both sides of the lower part of the guides.

Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat back frame.

After removing the velcro tape (A) and hog - ring clips (B) inside the front seat back cover, remove the seat back covering (C).
CAUTION: Be careful not to allow the sponge insert wire to separate.

Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat back pad.

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Information

Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.
Replace any damaged clips.
To prevent wrinkles, make sure that the material is stretched evenly over the cover (B) before securing the hog-ring clips (A).
Replace the hog-ring clips with new ones using special tool [09880-4F000].
