July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Disconnect the SRSCM connectors (A).

  4. Remove the SRSCM (A) by loosening the bolt and nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    Bolt: 10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lbf.ft)

    Nut: 6.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.8 kgf.m, 5.1 - 5.7 lbf.ft)
