Repair Procedures: Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the liftgate lower trim.

   (Refer to Body - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")

3. Disconnect the power liftgate latch connectors.

   1	Full lock switch
   2	Half lock switch
   3	Release motor (+)
   4	Release motor (-)
   5	Ground
   6	Full open switch

   1	Cinching motor (+)
   2	Cinching motor (-)
   3	Home position switch
   4	Ground

4. Check the power liftgate latch operation by connecting power and ground as shown below. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
