DTC P106A-12: SBW Actuator Encoder Error: General Description

The transmission is equipped with a Shift By Wire (SBW) actuator, which changes the SBW shift gears by rotating the SBW lever under the control of the Shift by wire Control Unit (SCU) for each transmission. The position sensor detects the current shift gear position and passes the position information to the SCU.
