Removal And Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")
- Remove the knock sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Knock sensor mounting bolt:
18.6-23.5 Nm (1.9-2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb.ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Install the Knock Sensor (KS) to the specified torque.
- If the KS is dropped, it may internal damage. (Do not reuse)
