Removal And Installation

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.0 -10.0 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.9 - 7.4 lb.ft)

  2. Disconnect the MAFS connector (A) and remove the mounting clamp (B).
  3. Remove the installation bolts, and then remove the sensor (C) from the air cleaner.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 -11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
