DTC P26D2-00: Engine Coolant Pump Control Module Over Temperature: General Description

The Electric Water Pump (EWP) serves to force coolant circulation to ISG-applied vehicles. When the coolant temperature rises above the threshold when ISG is applied, the Electric Water Pump (EWP) is controlled by the ECM via LIN communication and regulates the flow of coolant.
