Component Inspection: Notes

Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	EGR valve connector (component side)	4 (-)	EGR valve connector (component side)	5 (+)	2.21 to 2.99Ω (23°C (73.4°F))
Ignition "ON". Position sensor "Open". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	EGR valve connector	2 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	0.75 to 1.25V
Ignition "ON". Position sensor "Close". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	EGR valve connector	2 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	3.85 to 4.15V

Good

Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace EGR valve and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

CAUTION: Perform "Resetting Adaptive Values" in "Vehicle S/W Management" with KDS/GDS in case EGR valve is replaced or repaired.
