Deployment Outside Of The Vehicle

After spreading the rope (A) on the floor in a cross shape, put the tire (B) equipped with the wheel on the floor.

Connect the deployment adapter (A) (0K57A - 3U100A) to the airbag or pretensioner.

- When using the deployment adapter, use it appropriately according to the deployment airbag.
  - DAB, PAB, CAB, BPT (0K57A - 3U100A)
  - SAB (0957A - 2W100)
  - KAB (0957A - 3F100)
Fix the airbag or pretensioner (A) to the wheel.

CAUTION: If the airbag deployment surface faces downward instead of upward, the airbag may spring up and cause serious injury to the worker.

CAUTION: Install the end of the piston tube of the anchor pretensioner, facing the floor.
After putting the three waste tires (A), put the tire (B) with the wheel on it.
Fix the tire by using the ratchet strap (C).

After connecting the battery, connect the airbag deployment tool (0957A - 34100A) to the deployment adapter.

Activate the switch of the airbag deployment tool to deploy the airbag.

If the READY (2) button illuminates while pressing the READY (2) button, press DEPLOY (3) button to deploy the airbag.

Information

When the airbag is deployed, loud noise is generated, visually confirmed, and after rapid inflation, it contracts slowly.

Place the deployed airbag in a sturdy plastic bag and sealed securely, then dispose it.
