Removal And Installation: Installation
WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION ". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on high voltage system, make sure to check the PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) and HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURES .
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE: [Delivery Pipe]
- The delivery pipe bolts replace with a new one. (Do not reuse)
- Tighten the bolts by specified torque as the order when installing the delivery pipe after pre-tightening.
Tightening torque:
19.6 - 24.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.5 kgf.m, 14.5 - 18.1 lb.ft)
- When installing the delivery pipe, tighten the bolts alternately in order so that the delivery pipe does not tilt.
Tightening order: 2→3→1→4
- Be careful not to damage the end part of the injector when installing the delivery & injector module assembly.
- When installing the fuel line, be careful not to get contaminant into the fuel line.
- Be careful not to allow oil or fluids into the head port for the injector being inserted.
[Injector]- Replace the parts with new one, when reusing the injector.
- O-ring
- Support disc
- Clip
- Rubber washer
(When installing the rubber washer, make sure that the steel plate side faces the mounting area of the cylinder and the rubber plate side faces the injector body.)
- Combustion seal ring
(Refer to Injector - "REPLACEMENT ")
- Do not get grease or lubricant on the surface of the combustion seal ring.
- Do not use dropped parts.
- Apply engine oil to the O-ring.
[High Pressure Fuel Pipe]- Replace the high pressure fuel pipe with a new one. (Do not reuse)
