Circuit Inspection

Inspection Item Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
Power inspection (Alternator ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Connect the connector(s) alternator.
  2. Ignition "ON".
 Alternator connector 1 (B+) Chassis ground - B+
Voltage inspection (Alternator ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Connect the connector(s) alternator.
  2. Ignition "ON".
 Alternator connector 1 (LIN) Chassis ground - Approx. 10.9V
Power inspection (Alternator ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Disconnect the connector(s) alternator.
  2. Ignition "ON".
 Alternator connector 1 (B+) Chassis ground - B+
Voltage inspection (Alternator ↔ Chassis ground)
  1. Disconnect the connector(s) alternator.
  2. Ignition "ON".
 Alternator connector 1 (LIN) Chassis ground - Approx. 11.4V
