Outlined below is the procedure dealers should follow when hand held testing equipment is in need of repair.

ACTION REQUIRED

In the event of any hand held test equipment becoming faulty follow the procedure below.

PROCEDURE

  1. Ensure that the hand held equipment is definitely faulty (i.e. fault is not merely dirty contacts or low batteries).
  2. Where applicable, return only the faulty item to Lucas, not the complete tester kit. Include dealer address, telephone and fax number, contact name and a problem description with the faulty item.
  3. The equipment will then be repaired.
  4. Lucas will send an invoice to the dealer.
  5. The dealer should send a check to Lucas for the repair, and then the test equipment will be returned.
