Drop Arm Ball Joint: Notes

Personal injury could result if circlip is removed without pressure being held to cover plate.
NOTE:
This procedure relates to steering boxes having the ball joint incorporated in the drop arm. Steering boxes from Adwest serial number GBE 48200 00 have a taper hole in the drop arm. The ball joint is fitted to the drag link. These drop arms also have a cut out which is lined up with the casing for accurately centralizing the steering box.
