Range Rover BeCM Fault Questionnaire

As you are aware, all Range Rover BeCMs replaced under warranty are returned to the supplier, AB Electronics, for analysis so that any design or manufacturing faults identified can be rectified on future production.

Due to the complexity of the unit, a clear definition of the problems encountered is of great importance to ensure effective diagnosis of the root cause. To assist in this process, a BeCM Fault Questionnaire is now being included with all replacement BeCMs supplied through Land Rover Parts. Please complete this form with as much information as possible and return it with the failed BeCM.

The questionnaire covers all world-wide specifications of New Range Rovers, and includes two elements not applicable to the North American market. Specifically:

^ Section 5 includes reference to "EDC", this is a diesel engine system not available in North America.

^ Section 6 includes reference to the "EKA Code", this is part of the European specification for the security system and is not available on North American vehicles.

Please leave these two sections blank.

BeCM Questionnaires must accompany BeCM upon return.
