TC (Amber) Warning Light

TC warning light for Electronic Traction Control (ETC) system is located in the instrument panel. TC warning light will illuminate for 3 seconds as a bulb check when ignition is turned on and ABS and TC system self-diagnostic checks are completed.

When ETC is active, TC warning light will illuminate for a minimum of 2 seconds and a warning sound will be heard. TC warning light will go out when ETC operation is completed. If ETC is disabled because of a fault, message center will display TRACTION FAILURE, TC warning light will illuminate and a single chime will sound. If ETC overheats, message center will display TRACTION OVERHEAT, TC warning light will flash for at least 10 seconds and a single chime will sound. ETC will be available when ETC components have cooled. ETC only works at vehicle speeds less than 62 MPH.
