Gear Position Switch: Removal

  1. Select Park. Raise vehicle and support vehicle using a 4 post lift. Remove nut securing gear selector lever to selector shaft. See Figure . Release lever. Release switch connector from bracket.
  2. Disconnect from vehicle harness. Remove nut and bolt securing gear position switch. Release switch from selector shaft. Remove breather hose. Remove gear position switch.
