Locking Ring, Fuel Tank

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the fuel tank.
4. Remove the fuel tank pad.





CAUTION: Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these components.

5. Remove the fuel pump module locking ring.

Torque: 200 Nm





6. CAUTION: A new O-ring seal is to be installed.









Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
