Off-Road Navigation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If off-road navigation is selected, the driver can input a number of waypoints and longitude and latitude destinations on the applicable screen on the TSD. The navigation computer calculates the route from and to each waypoint using the global positioning system (GPS) data.

The off-road navigation route comprises a series of waypoints which are followed sequentially. Point-to-point guidance is given to the first waypoint on the route. Once the first waypoint destination is achieved, the navigation computer calculates the route to the second waypoint in the route. This process is repeated until the final waypoint is reached.
