Speed Control Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Make the SRS system safe.

    Refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING (Safety Belt System).

    Refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING (Supplemental Restraint System).

  3. Remove the driver air bag module. Refer to DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE .
    • Remove the 2 Torx screws.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
