ISSUE

A customer may report that intermittently one or more of the camera images do not appear on the Touch Screen Display, however the camera image returns after the ignition has been switched off and then on again.

CAUSE

The camera software intermittently may cause the camera image to be displayed as a blue screen with a red cross during engine cranking when the battery voltage is low. The blue screen image will remain on the Touch Screen Display until the battery voltage has returned to normal and the ignition switch has been cycled.

Content:

If a customer reports the concern carry out a reconfiguration of the existing 'Image Processing Control Module' (Camera Module) to download the latest calibration files using DVD131 Patch file 1 onwards following all on screen prompts.

Affected VIN range as follows: Discovery/LR4 - AA510178 to CA633260

Range Rover Sport - AA212145 to CA761073

Range Rover - AA304426 to CA387814

NOTE: If the blue screen issue is displayed permanently and does not clear at the next ignition cycle with the battery voltage normal, then the concern is unlikely to be caused by the camera module software and all other current Technical Service Bulletins should be consulted and followed where applicable.
