DTC P0481-71: Fan 2 Control Circuit - Actuator stuck: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Prioritized Checks To Perform
- Check there is not any obstruction preventing electric cooling fan movement
- Check for damage to or blockages in fan and fouling of fan cowling. Rectify as required
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the engine cooling fan circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new engine cooling fan as necessary
- Check and install a new engine cooling fan only when diagnosed as failed
