SITUATION
An updated TOPIx Test Plan has been created for the 'Electric Power Inverter Converter (EPICD)', also known as the Direct Current to Direct Current Converter (DC/DC).
The following test has been created:
- EPICD - Direct Current To Direct Current (DC/DC) Operational Test
This test replaces:
- EPICD - Direct Current To Direct Current (DC/DC) Operational Test part 1
- EPICD - Direct Current To Direct Current (DC/DC) Operational Test part 2
ACTION
Refer to the service information below.
SERVICE INFORMATION
- Connect the approved JLR Battery Support Unit (BSU)
- Connect the approved JLR diagnostic equipment
- Select Fault and Breakdown and start a new Workflow
Enter one of the following symptoms:
- Powertrain -> Engine -> Starting System -> Engine Will Not Crank
- Electrical -> Battery and Charging System -> Low Voltage System (12V) -> Discharged Battery
- Powertrain -> Warnings -> Warning Message -> Stop Safely Electrical Fault Detected
The following Test Plan will be offered:
- EPICD - Direct Current To Direct Current (DC/DC) Operational Test
Complete the Test Plan, following any on-screen instructions
