Electronically Controlled Transmission With Intelligent Control System (LS400)

This system electronically controls gear shift timing, clutch and brake hydraulic pressure and engine torque during shifting to achieve optimum shift feeling. A shift lock system is also incorporated to prevent the possibility of incorrect operation of the transmission. The transmission ECU is located together with the engine ECU inside a single unit.
