When System Is Set

A number of failures or malfunctions are possible when system is set. Identify details of system failure and go to specified test.

When Door Is Unlocked, System Does Not Operate - Check door unlock detection switch circuit. See TEST 10 under TESTING.
When Luggage Compartment Door Is Opened By A Method Other Than The Key, System Does Not Operate - Check luggage compartment door courtesy switch circuit. See TEST 9 under TESTING.
When Hood Is Opened, System Does Not Operate - Check hood courtesy switch circuit. See TEST 11 under TESTING.
Alarm Is Not Canceled When Ignition Key Is Turned To ACC Or ON Position - Check ignition switch circuit. See TEST 7 under TESTING.
Alarm Still Sounds When Luggage Compartment Is Opened With Key - Check luggage compartment door key operated switch circuit. See TEST 8 under TESTING.
